CMF in New Taipei City, Taipei, Taiwan

Support multiple programs under the direction of Nest CMF designer/ manager to provide day to day support of roadmap, owning development and execution to realize design intent – drive vendor communication, color and material development, part and unit level reviews, golden sample review, limit review, build support, risk mitigation and collaborative problem solving

Collaborate with cross functional teams – ID/IDE/ PD/ MSE/DPgM+ for in depth understanding and problem solving , to meet timelines of builds and material orders

Bring industry technical know how of color and material development to execute on design intent throughout proto builds leading towards MP across multiple parts and multiple vendors (color readings, gloss level, multi-material color matching, limit reviews, CMF tolerance spec setting, etc)

Ability to regularly communicate between TW and MTV for program status, risk mitigation, design intent, problem solving and escalation as needed for key issues

Manage multiple vendors across all cosmetic parts on a program to drive top quality color and material development to meet design intent

Portfolio showing excellent sense of CMF applied to a variety of product categories
Experience with hands on development of color and material across multiple parts on one product
Technical know how and expertise in color measurements, gloss readings, limit reviews, and tolerance spec setting with manufacturers
Range of development and execution experience across broad range of materials in consumer products
Strong communication skill set , verbal and visual, to enable clear and effective communication across MTV + TW, and with vendors
2+ years of relevant CMF design experience in a progressive, fast-paced environment.

Ability to engage and lead CMFE efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong program management skills within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Great communication skills to influence a wide range of stakeholders, and balance teams in different locations
A keen eye for design (proportions, color, form, typography, presentation) and an intuitive feel for design (culture, functionality, fashion, ergonomics, trends, history)
Ability to work independently as well as within a mixed team environment
Ability to balance scientific and by-eye reviews of quality , and address changes needed to drive top quality design.
