Job Responsibilities

Evaluate and select appropriate manufacturing processes for mechanical components to ensure design feasibility, mass production readiness, and efficient assembly.

Follow up on trial production and mass production of mechanical parts, develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency and yield.

Be proficient in common manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, rubber molding, die cutting, and screw fastening, with the ability to select the best approach based on product requirements.

Understand various secondary processes including painting, electroplating, and dispensing, and be capable of designing standardized assembly procedures.

Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to identify and resolve process-related issues during mass production.

Prepare and maintain process documents, SOPs, and technical specifications, ensuring continuous improvement of production standards.

Lead or participate in new product introduction (NPI) projects, managing risk and ensuring timely delivery of mass production goals.

Education

Bachelors degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Processing, or related fields.

At least 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical manufacturing engineering.

Hands-on experience with high-volume production and product ramp-up.

Solid understanding of manufacturing techniques for mechanical parts (injection molding, stamping, rubber, die cutting, screws, etc.) and their quality standards.

Familiarity with surface treatment processes such as painting, electroplating, electrophoresis, and dispensing, as well as standardized assembly process design.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.

Proficient in CAD, Pro/E (or Creo), SolidWorks, or other mechanical design software.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
