Manufacturing Quality Engineer Key Qualification
Manufacturing Quality Engineer to drive end-to-end quality at our contract manufacturing partners. In this role, the individual will work closely with internal/external stakeholders to understand design as well as manufacturing requirements, Lead all quality engineering activities, and develop quality programs that will enable us to build and ship high-quality products This is a high-impact role where the individual will lead all quality engineering activities among the contract manufacturer and internal teams for all things quality
Quality Skill Sets
- 5+ years of factory experience in manufacturing quality high-volume electronics (Consumer, Automotive, Medical devices)
- Strong SMT process experience
- Experience developing/executing process quality control plans including SMT, IQC, IPQC, Assembly, FATP, OBA, and OQC processes with the expertise in driving root cause analysis of production issues, implementing corrective actions for yield improvement
- Proficiently manufacturing process quality auditor possess the working knowledge of quality engineering tools such as SPC, AQL sampling, Cpk, GRR, 8D, 5 whys FA, DOE, PFMEA, and Continuous Quality Improvement
- Excellent supplier management, project management skills, and vendor quality control
- Strong English written and oral communication, Chinese speaking is a plus to effectively communicating with the CM factory leadership/Engineer
